A choice is always a choice

GIST - Micheal was sending a letter to his parents about being gay.

Answer #1 - Not everyone has the courage to confess that they are gay, that's why I admire micheal for telling his parents that he is gay, and I am very proud of micheal.

Discuss #1 - People who are gay or lesbian are scared to show their true self because they are afraid that society will judge them, that's why they only hide it.

Answer #2 - Discrimination, the most common of them all. I say that discrimination is the most common because it is. when ever people see an LGBTQ they immediately judge. But don't judge someone if you don't know the reason behind such action.

Conclusion - I would encourage them to speak to their parents and show his true self becuse if you can't show your true self you will never be able to experience true happiness, because true happiness is acceptance and being proud about yourself

FAMILY DAY 2020

            Family day is the day when families get together for one day for a school event, it gives us chances to bond with our families, to play with our families, and to talk to our families, here is my experience of this year's family day.

            This year's family day was by far the most memorable family day I have ever been apart to, it helped me grow my family's bonds deeper, we were able to communicate, and me and my batchmates forged a bond that will never be replaced with any sections, we were able to form teamwork and unity in this family day.

                         

            Before the dance, we were all nervous, I don't know why we were nervous but we were, but we decided to go all out during our dance, and we delivered all the details perfectly, due to our hard work, trust, teamwork, unity, and perseverance.

The meal was so good, but unfortunately, we were only allowed to go there once, due to a shortage of food, nevertheless, the food was great and again I was able to talk to my family openly.

                         

            Rejoice! We were the champions, for them it was their 4-peat as champion, but for me, it was my first, and I'm so happy that I got to enjoy our first victory with these people because they are the best.

            That basically sums up my experience in my first and last A.C.T Family day, it was fun and memorable, because of the people I got to spend it to, was also the best. and I do not regret changing schools.

CAT CAMPING

           The 2 days CAT survival camp was one of the most memorable experiences in my life, it helped us polish our teamwork, our craftiness, our perseverance, knowledge, basically all the knowledge that involves survival.

            During the first day, all of us were excited for our first and last CAT camping that will be held at A.C.T. Our first activity was like capture the flag but the flags were handkerchiefs, all of the platoons were unsuccessful in capturing all 8 flags, later it was revealed that the final handkerchief was hidden on the bottom part of the locker.

                            

           After the first activity, we were tasked to cook our own meal, it was tough but we were successful, and after almost 1-2 hours of making a fire, and cooking, we finally made our meal only to be bartered to the other platoons. We were pretty frustrated with the barter because we worked hard for that meal, and we made it as a platoon, yet it was bartered to another platoon.

                             

             After the meal, we continued our activities, so some may call it "The amazing race". This race consists of 8 challenges, The first was to show your footwork, the second was you have to guess what "thing" is inside the number you choose, the third was balance, the fourth was still balance, the fifth was an obstacle course, the sixth was you have to fit through a hole without falling on it, the seventh one was carrying someone on your back, and the last activity was the harena game.


                             

           After all the activities, we were tasked again to cook our own food, it was pretty tiring after doing all those activities, but in the end, we were able to cook a fine meal for our platoon to enjoy. After the meal, we all took a shower.


                             

          After we took a shower, we had one last activity in the night, which was to speak to those you have some conflict with, at first I didn't like the idea, because we are not talking because of a specific reason, but in the end, we were able to talk it out and avoid issues.


                             

          In the morning, as expected, we were all pretty tired, most of the people were sleeping, (including me), and yet we were able to cook our own food once again.


         That concludes my experience in the CAT CAMPING, it was the most fun I'd had for a long time, it certainly helped me see everything in a bigger picture, and learn to appreciate all we have today, no matter how small.

Bakit Tayo Humusga?

       Hindi natin maiiwasan na mayroong mga tao na mahilig o nasa kanilang likas na katangian ang pag huhusga, pero bawat isa nating ay naka subok na mag husga sa iba. Hindi natin yan maiiwasan kasi tao lang tayo, walang perpekto sa atin.

                                                    

                                                       

       Naniniwala ako na ang lahat ng tao ay natatangi, may ibat-iba tayong kakayahan, and ibang tao ay mahina, at ibang tao ay malakas, pero pare-pareho lang tayong halaga sa mata ng Diyos, pero sa sinabi ko hindi tayo perpekto at yan ay pag sisimula sa paghuhuska sa iba. Halos lahat ng oras ay hinuhusgahan ng mga tao kung ano ang ang wala sa kanila, kasi minsan naiingit rin tayo sa mga bagay na gusto natin na wala natin pero meron sa iba, at yan lang ang pinagmulan ng paghuhusga, kainggitan.

        Bilang isang tao, nararanasan ko ng maghusga, hinuhusgahan ng iba, pero hindi tayo dapat magpapa-apekto sa lahat ng sinasabi ng mga tao, kailangan mo malaman ang iyong halaga, walang perpekto sa mundong ito, ngunit dapat parin tayo manatiling magpakumbaba at hindi dapat tayo maghusga sa ibang tao.

Judgement of Paris

                                    

Based on the story, I could honestly say that he made the correct decision of choosing aphrodite as the fairest because no thing or no material can give greater love than to offer greater love, or to offer your love and loyalty to other.

Offering your love is greater than any material, because giving your love and giving your loyalty to others is very important, that's why paris had her eye on aphrodite because the other Goddesses offered material things, than offering their love, that's why paris choose Aphrodite to be the fairest of them all.

In conclusion, I couldn't agree more with the decision of paris, because I would rather choose love and loyalty, than money, land or any material things given to me, because if I loved someone who gives my material things, I would be loving the money not her, that's why I agreed with Paris's decision.

Trojan War

From what I have learned is that war is like a coin, It has two sides, victory and defeat, and both parties tend to aim for victory. Sometimes in life violence or war is never the answer, but in the trojan wars everything is very different.

                                          

The trojan war was held against the city of Troy. The war against the city of Troy was the most important battle in all greek mythology, I say that this was the most important war in greek mythology is because the trojan prince paris abducted Helen, the wife of menelaus of Sparta.

                                          

In conclusion sometimes we have to understand the other parties view of the situation, in order to truly understand the situation, whether to act or to talk, but if everything falls apart, violence is never the answer, but it creates more problems in the future.

Desiderata

                                                        

          Happiness for me is watching people laugh and work together. Watching people

laugh makes them even more united, and friendship is very much needed to this world.

Happiness also for me is seeing people helping each other, it might be weird that by seeing them helping each other makes me happy but I'm just being me. All of us find happiness in different ways and there's nothing wrong with that. Happiness can be also be found in my family, whenever I help them, and they seem to be happy, it makes me happy seeing them happy.

                                                    

         The lesson I've learned from the story is to follow your passion, Listen to your heart, make your passion your happiness and earn. You have control over your life and it is you who makes you own decision, not anyone, not your father, not your mother, not your siblings but you, and you alone.

                                                       

       Yes. This poem motivates me to push myself even harder then before, because I now know what struggles and difficulties is and I don't want to experience it again so I am trying my best to  understand one another and learn from my mistakes.

                                                       

      Growing up is a vital role for millennials, if you can't grow up, you can never make your own decision in life, and you always have to rely on someone thats why we have to grow up so that we don't have to rely on someone.
